Orders/Changes: All orders and changes must be confirmed in writing. Lachman will not accept responsibility for errors on verbal orders/changes.

Artwork: The integrity of a company’s logo can be maintained if our Design Department receives the original logo in a usable file format and at a high enough quality that we can use. Artwork that requires art time will be billed at $65.00 per hour.
Acceptable file formats: Vector art saved as .pdf, .eps, or .ai files. Black and white artwork please – No halftones.
Red flag formats: .jpg, .gif or .png files. These file formats generally indicate the image was downloaded from the internet, are low quality, will be grainy and need to be recreated by our Design Department.
PMS Color Match: For PMS color matches other than standard colors add $50.00 per color.
Proofs: Proofs for your approval are provided at no charge. They are generally generated 3-4 days after your order is placed with standard lead times. For rush orders, your proofs will arrive within 24-48 hours.
Terms & Conditions: The art approval process is the most crucial step in any personalization business. Customer must carefully approve all layout, sizing and spelling. Once customer approves artwork, liability shifts to customer who agrees not to hold Lachman responsible for changes not requested prior to final approval. Lachman makes its best effort at all times to provide correct artwork for customer and to etch or engrave artwork per approved proof.
Shipping and Handling: FOB Southfield, MI
Drop Shipments: Orders shipped to more than one location, add $10.00 handling for each additional location.
Split Shipments: For an order split into different delivery dates, add $10.00 handling for each shipment.
Damage Claims: Damage claims must be made no later than 48 hours after receipt of order. All damaged merchandise must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt. All original packing, boxes and merchandise must be kept for inspection.
Returns: Custom and personalized orders are made to your specific requirements and cannot be returned. Blank items may be returned within 30 days with Lachman approval only. A return authorization number will be issued and all boxes must be marked with return authorization number in original boxes with original packing. You will be credited full price less a 15% restocking fee and cost of return shipping.
Cancellation: Once a custom or personalized order has been accepted, approved and production has begun, it cannot be cancelled. Customer will be liable for all work performed.
Trademark Notice: Lachman assumes no responsibility for determining who does or does not hold title to a trademark. The artwork, designs and trademarks imprinted on the products displayed herein are reproduced only as examples of the type of quality of imprinted products available. They are not intended to represent that the products are either endorsed by owners of the artwork, designs or trademark.
How Do We Ship? FedEx Ground is our preferred method. We also offer FedEx Express. We utilize UPS as an alternative, and can direct-bill shipping charges to your account as a courtesy. Truck Shipments: If your shipment is in excess of 400 pounds or is unusually large, we contract with reputable freight lines. International Shipping: We prefer FedEx for international single piece shipments. We prefer a customer FedEx account number to make the customs process easier. For larger shipments, we utilize an experienced freight forwarder.
Do we offer discounts to anyone? Yes our discounts are based on quantity and volume. Please ask a customer service representative how to qualify.

Engraving: All letters engraved into solid brass and nickel brass plates are deep cut and black enamel filled. Engraving into silverplate and pewter items are diamond point engraved with no fill. Laser engraving into silver, gold and black aluminum plates is generally included in the piece price.
